Anybody belong to (a paying member) Chessgames.com? If so, do you like it? Was it worth the money? (22 bucks). I remember when the whole thing used to be free. It was a source of game/opening research. Now to get beyond the basics, you have to chip in with the money. I was just wondering if anyone here is a subscribing member and whether they like it.

Originally posted by Windsor MikeI agree! It's less easy to wander in and explore lines than chessgames.com's opening explorer was, but makes up for that by actually explaining the ideas behind some of the openings. Whenever I decide to add something new to my rep., I go there.
If you are looking for a chess opening site, try http://www.eudesign.com/chessops/ In my opinion ,the best!
Trying to learn the dutch right now, actually, via that site.
