I was trying to get some practice with specific openings by studying GM games. So I opened up ChessMaster and searched the database for the opening I was looking for (Nimzo Indian E20). ChessMaster displayed a list of Nimzo Indian games. I double-clicked on one and then clicked the "send to training" button. (I wanted the game to be displayed on a larger board.)

Here's the problem...

On some of the games (in the "training board"😉, there are controls (forward, back...etc) in the 'game status" window. Other games don't give me the controls. Does anyone know why?

You did not state which ChessMaster version you have. Maybe there is a bug. Try looking at ChessMaster's home web page and see if that is a bug and if there is a patch to fix it.

Thanks! I think the patch may have worked. Have to do more research to be sure though.
