Yes, click on "leave clan" and you're out.
But if you have clan games in progress you have to finish them.
You will be given some games no doubt by the clan leader, but it may take a couple days or so to start them.
Join one, try it out. You can switch later, or join more than one if you can handle the game load. I think you'll enjoy it.
