Hi Max.
In the thread titled 'Books' you asked for help in choosing some
chess books to help you progress.
This thread has been hijacked and has drifted way off target.

I played over a few of your games. Cannot quite get a handle on you.

Game 5342769 You play a nice opening trap and win.

Game 5301603 Shocking. Queen out too early and lost.

Game 5280283 Exposed King to attack and mated.

Sometimes you play solid sensible opening moves - other times
you play like you only learned the game yesterday.

Sometimes you play a reasonable middle game - other times
you hang pieces all over the board.

Stop playing online when you are drunk 🙂

You were advised to get two books.
Logical Chess & 1000 Short Games by Chernev - excellent choices.
Buy the former and download the latter from:

http://www.gambitchess.com/semi/db6.htm

You do not need the Chernev notes for the 1000 games.
You will see bad opening moves getting punished in a very
instructive and enjoyable tactical manner.

Finally Game 5341113 You won that game but your
opponent has a resource and need not of resigned.
Something to be learn't here.

Thanks for the help on that and the constructive criticism.I will try to find the books you suggested.When you said sometimes i hang pieces all over the board in the middle game that's mainly to do with me not having much of a clue what i am doing.

i have a 2 to 1 ratio of losses...
seems like every win i get has taken some sort of beautiful combo that I would normally never see.

While the losses are usually horrible blunders, or just being completely outclassed.
