They have arrived on red hot pawn at last, I am hoping to figure them out soon but if anybody wants to do it for me I would be quite pleased.

I would imagine that this will make a massive difference for Hardcore tournaments and site championships in the future. All this business of waiting for your opponent to go offline to try and steal time will be a thing of the past. 🙂

Ah, I figured it out. You can only do them when it is your opponents move, makes sense really as you could be making the moves yourself if they were online at the same time.

yeah....i like it...already trying it out on one of my games

Just be careful not to make the conditional moves into blunders - that would be embarrasing to have mistakes stored ready to play.

This will greatly help engine cheats; all they'll have to do is program in a bunch of possible moves by their opponent and give Fritz/Rybka/Hiarcs, etc. etc. a couple minutes and VOILA!; they'll be able to move even faster than they do now.

They will get banned even faster too - the more games they complete by cheating the better, it just gives more evidence to convict and rid the site of them.

This will help humans to make obvious replies.

You still need to be able to predict a human response to a given position though, which an engine will be unable to do.

I don't know about anyone here, but I'm not touching that feature. Even with my (relatively) low game load, I like to think and re-think and blunder check every move 10 times before I make it. Chess is complicated enough one move at a time.

Conditional moves? I could have sworn User 124624 uses conditional trolling to troll after my posts. These pesky trolls. 😛

I agree! Seems very scary to me.

If I understand correctly, you can program your whole opening repertoire in using the "deep mode". You have to refresh it once every ninety days though.

If I understand correctly too, (under)promotions, en passants, castlings and such difficult issues are not completely smoothly programmed yet!?
