I think shirov just blundered with Qd4, it must be over now... Qc7 or Kh2 for black.

Yeah, it's over. Topalov wins over Shirov with the Queen's Gambit.

Also, I think Kramnik is heading for another draw but we'll see. Does anyone know what round he'll play Topalov? I haven't seen the pairings.

I think Kramnik will find a way to win that one.

Topov will play Kramnik in round 12 (of 13) on Saturday 27th. Topov will be White.

he probably played right into topalov's home preparation, as topo blitzed the first 29 moves in 30 minutes...

I love the way Topov sacrifices the exchange so often. It's a pity he's such a knob.

Here's a picture of Topov during his game against Shirov. It was taken as Topov was about to play 39. Kh2.

did kramnik win already (move 44. Ra4 currently)? doesn't both available knight moves result in rook exchange, creating rook pawn against the knight? which is won, I believe?

Navara is wriggling desperately, but I think he's going to end up in a rook and pawn ending where Kramnik has two pawns and Navara has one.
