Could there be a two year limit on games, at which point the days per move drops to one day and the timebank drops to, say, 3 days if greater than that? Pro's, con's, anyone? It is boring to have a conservative 21/21 game approaching 2 years old when the tournament is long over. I know I signed up for it, but still...

If someone can't (or won't) access the internet every day to move it seems unfair to change the time limits half way through in a game they have toiled over for years. You know this - almost all your games are, or have been, Long Hauls!

welcome to correspondence chess, new guy.
Originally posted by RagwortNo revenge motive. No desire to change time rules during a game. What I'm suggesting will affect no game and change no one's need to access the internet every day, for TWO YEARS. Or they could change it to something like 3days /7days. If RHP doesn't think it's a good idea so be it.

Originally posted by JS357Don't be silly. For starters, 2 years in a 21-day game may only be 45 moves. You would have a better chance if you suggested this option after 200 moves or so.
