I took part in a very informal, very small tournament earlier this week. There were only 3 of us, and we were pretty much left to run it ourselves. The first game I played, my opponeent allowed me a Fool's Mate from the Black side. I told him we could play another game if he'd like, and he said yes. Then I got to deliver a smothered mate for the first time ever, and looked like a total genius. 😀
