Jau, I'm interested in making my own database. Anybody knows any program to do this?

Another question in topic: what's the better database for you? I think http://www.chesslive.de/ is a good one, but neither you have so much to choice..(I also know http://www.chessgames.com/ but I don't like it very much..)

Thanks.

I don't like http://www.chesslive.de/, because it has very view games and is one of the most user-unfriendliest applets I know.
The game search just works for the first 3 half moves!

What do you think about www.redhotpawn.com/gamesexplorer

Actually, chesslive.de is one of the largest online databases, with 3.5 million games:

http://chessbase.com/events/index.asp

And in my personal experience the database is indeed large. It has a lot of other problems, but size isn't one of them. Also patently false is the claim that the database only works for the first three half moves.

The two preceding messages seem like some sort of propaganda by a competitor.

Edit: I haven't used it for quite a while, because of those other problems, including the fact that every time I start a new game where I really need it, it stops working for a day or more.
