decline a challenge

How does one decline a challenge?
Do you just let it sit there until time expires?

put a pot of water on to boil.

when it's boiling throw it on yourself!!

click on the garbage can in your games list

I usually take a moment to message the challenger and briefly state my reason for declining. Probably not necessary but it seems more polite than just deleting.

especially when the reason for declining stems from the absence of such a message accompanying the challenge
