Come join the Deepnet chess server!
To join, you will have to download a chess interface.
You may download our Deepnet Chess interface at our homepage,
chess.deepnet.com/DCSETUP.exe
You can also download Thief for windows at www.knighttour.org/theif
To get Winboard for Windows or Xboard for linux, you can go to http://www.tim-mann.org/xboard.html.
After you have downloaded your interface, you may make a new connection. If you are using Thief, this may be hard for you. Winboard connections are quite easy. Our homepage, http://chess.deepnet.com has all the information you'll need to connect.
To register, you can simply connect to our website and talk to one of the system administrators marked w/ a (*), or just type in d help register
We have tournaments, helpers to guide you and many more things to help you enjoy chess! We hope to see you there!
I logged on as a guest and noone is in there! It's practically empty. They say you can register with some JobyX bot or something and he doesn't work! Then they to ask admin's but the two ad's that are on don't answer you! What a bunch of nothing! Nice interface though, alot like ICC, but nothing in it so! π
here is how it's done. I am the man! Ok....Make a new connection and fill in the first with DNCS. Then fill in the Handle as guest and leave the rest blank. You are now in as a guest. Then type assist I want to register. And if noone answers then type the command who. Just the word who. And ask anyone with a * next to there name if they can register. I was registered by KSM. π
Hi, if you really want to play chess (in real-time) there is a free site that is much more visited (at least 200 people at any time).
It is called FICS (free internet chess server), and it is free to registerπ
Currently it is down for update, but visit it in a day or two and give it a try, the URL is: http://www.freechess.org/ , there is a wide choice of interfaces for it, or you could play trought JAVA based client.
Personaly I like this site much moreπ but if the real-time chess is what you are looking for give it a try.
Originally posted by PanukaYeah,I know.I'm registered at FICS and at ICC too.I'm also registered at Yahoo, but I forgot my handle there.

I just wanted to give DNCS a try π
They probably don't advertise it enough,'cause it really looks neat.I can't see any reason for people not wanting to play there.
