Once I had a guy offer me a draw every move in an over-the-board game. At first I said "no", then ignored his later offers with a smirk or a smile. Finally, he said "any time you want that draw, just let me know". I personally find it amusing when people do this. They might as well say, "I know I'm lost, but I'm too proud to resign".

Someone tried this in a tournament. After 20 moves I complained to the TD and was awarded the win.

And when you ask with your next move what they were thinking, they never reply! Idiots.

Although my favorite are the draw offers right before you mate.

And then there's also the times your playing chess and that happens.

Actually, I don't think that's ever happened to me. I've seen players offer me draws when I'm clearly winning but they don't keep repeating.

It's Merans.

I've never had this happen to me. I've actually never even have someone offer a draw once from a clearly worse position. But it is just plain stupidity.
