I am in need of some fast ways to take out the other player and I can not seem to get my defences up. Can anybody help me? A few good trick moves would do nicely.

White: Gary Kasparov (world champion)
Black: Shiny Knight (mystery man)
1. e4 .... e5
2. Nf3.... Nc6
3. Bb5... a6
4. Ba4.... Nf6
So far pretty normal stuff, Spanish orthodox. Then Kasparov employs an innovation:
5. Ws9!
Not common and therefore quite frightning. Black thought for a moment and then gave this effective reply:
5... S.K.r7!!!
Isn't it stunning in its simplicity? Kasparov kept staring at the board for an hour and then gave up. A nice example why games don't have to be long to be beautiful."

There's no sucker moves - only suckers. Anyway, have a look at these traps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Chess_traps
