...players who get within one move of being checkmated and then "go on vacation"? I got a certain "chuckturnerjr" who got within one move of forced mate and went on vacation for just MY game, not his other games.

Sounds like he's just being a pain in the rear and being a bit of a sore loser just to make it difficult for you. Just time him out when the time-outs expire. Pretty simply really!

Yeah I know. It's just irritating.

I'd probably laugh and then just wait him out. Yeah, it's mildly annoying, but not all that much. It's kind of pathetic that someone would go through that much effort to annoy me when it doesn't even work.

These people are the ones who usually complain when you time them out whilst their flag is on too! 😠

If their moving in other games, then that flag is pointless exy.

The flag is pointless, but my point was those people that put it up when they're one move from mate, in the vain hope of stalling, these are the ones that moan the loudest when they time out.

Is it possible to put up a vacation flag for one game and not others?
If so, time him out.

Exy... the flag is not pointless to me and some other users... who use it to say....

Back in a week (gives date) I will move in my games if I get some time.

Other than that, many users do abuse it... but not everyone.

By pointless I meant that it's only use is to add a bit of extra free text to your profile, it doesn't prevent time outs, as some people mistakenly think.

Well, I can't time him out until his time bank runs out. I've seen other people saying you shouldn't start games with a time bank because jerks abuse them, and now I know what they mean.

Very funny. I just timed out the same guy. Check out what the board looked like when he "disappeared":

Well, now he's back, so you can strike the fatal blow. " Lay on MacDuff, and cursed be he who first cries 'Hold, enough'." 😏

He came back and made his last move. Interesting that he did the same thing to someone else.

I don't know how you add those boards, but my game's ID is 1129462.
