Check out the endgame.White is up a pawn,but I couldn't see a way to win.What do you think,is this a draw?

That being said, my idea would be to try to get my rook behind my passed pawn by tranferring it from g4 to e4, then to e3, play the pawn to f4, and finally Rf4. There's not too much his rook can do about it; if it moves off the 5th rank, the White rook can check the Black king and force it backward, enabling your king to move up the board. Much too tired to try and hammer out any variations, even too lazy to throw it into Fritz and see what it comes up with. But I'd certainly continue playing here, probably to the great annoyance of my opponent. Good night, all. 😴

I understand your point though. If I keep playing, maybe my oppo would make a mistake, maybe I would find a win after some more moves, maybe I'd stumble on it by accident.Who knows. But that's not how I do things.I guess I don't want to win that bad 😕
Originally posted by SirLoseALotIt's a sure draw unless you can somehow capture his pawn which would require very bad play on your opponent's part in a pretty simple position. Having played Exy, I don't believe there was any reasonable possibility of that happening, so I think offering a draw here was a good decision unless you wanted to work on your endgames and figure out on the board why such a position is drawn.
