No. I've also looked at a game where no move has been made at all. I can still offer a draw. Where do you get 'wrong' from?

Hey! A few Hoogovens' ago, they started playing the Slav and pushing as black - and had the temerity to win with it!

Don't bash closed games, you can win or lose them just as badly as Two Knights'. And better than that bl*#*&dy Philidor...

Are you playing on a tablet? It's very easy to press the 'offer draw' button with your thumb (or whichever part of your hand your are holding the tablet with) by mistake, I've done it a few times.

Apparently Mott the Hoople already has all the answers, and just posted on the forum as a sham showing of ignorance, merely to practice typing.

At least we all now know that he/she is well acquainted with the words "wrong" and "stupid". No mystery there!

Greenpawn34 is a highly principled chess aggressor- he routinely eschews such mellow and passive openings as 1. d4 so he can play wild, manic attacking motifs such as the Ruy Lopez Exchange variation, and 3. Bb5 in the Sicilian! πŸ˜‰

    ".....the Ruy Lopez Exchange variation"

I have too. If I don't get rid of that Bishop soon then I'll
only sac it on f7 or h7 usually for two checks and lost game.

    It's called 'knowing thyself.'

Not to mention after dxc6 I no longer have to worry about
or watch for am equalising d5 from Black.

At least I don't sneak it into play with g3 and Bg2.

And anyway Bxc6 wins me the minor exchange.
Knights are better than Bishops - everyone knows that.

Does this mean we are both "anti-bishop" in our own way? Or perhaps one of us is wrong, and the other is stupid! πŸ™„

It must be a sad existence Paul Ligette. All I wanted was some help understanding a site problem, instead I get replies (except for some, and I thank you) from people that were no doubt beat down as wimpy children and get their kicks being smart asses behind a keyboard.

"Sad existence" is better saved for those with humour by-passes.

You started off on the right foot and were getting help, but the one-word "wrong" and "stupid" quips meant that the original smart ass behind a keyboard was ...

I've no problem with the 'Stupid' comment.

But it seemed to me the lad had his question answered
so me and my smart-ass keyboard slipped in a gag.

Perhaps if he had gone to 'Help Forum' ....

But I'm glad Mott The Hoople stumbled on to this Forum.

If only he had played @Ian-Hunter we could post the game.

I had lunch on Saturday with someone who bought a house from Mick Ralphs. He had a few stories about him, but nothing that can be repeated here!

How many stories did the house have?

Is there a prize for Shortest Game on Record, I wonder. C'mon GP, I'm counting on you to comb the database and come up with examples of games terminated after a single half-move--with extensive annotations, please.

Well not including the 100's of White makes the first move and timeout wins.

It's Me! Incredible but it's true. Game 5229133
There is (unless one was played from September last year) no other like it.
The lad said he moved too quick.

When is the 2015 RHP Championship going to start?

    I'm Black.
