there is no mate in one...there are only two moves which give CHECK:
Kd7+ and Rf7+ ...in either case the checked king can safely move to
f7 (capturing in the case of Rf7+)

That's what I thought for a long time, hypermo. Remember the black
king is on c1! 😉

😀 Very good puzzle!!! When I first look at it I thought that it was
impossible, but .... I found the mate after 10 minutes of hard
thinking!!! I will definetly put a chess puzzle on my tombstone!!!
