Okay, so I admit I wasn't completely convinced that it was going to work, but letting the e5 pawn hang worked out quite nicely for me in this game



I think the big mistake was 13. g4?

I think the lesson to be taken out is: don't expand your kingside pawns unless you've already castled queenside unless you have a compelling reason to do so.
