My opponent could've clicked on the skull for hours. He didn't. While I was submitting my move I thanked him and he said that he wouldn't spoil a good game by timeouting it (together with a smiley). The game was indeed fun. Then I noticed that his last move allows mate in one.

I just can't submit the winning move 'cause I would feel like a retard.

Yeah,I'd feel awkward too.You could message him offering a draw with explanation of your reason.

Chess is war, not a goddamn tea party - play the mate! Your opponent will hate you but deep down he'll respect you for it.

Maybe he knew the game was lost but thought you deserved the win.

I go with this one. Only friendly games should be considered for non skulling, other that he deserves a beating for not taking the skull

Take the mate - thank him for gameand his sportsmanship.

Rule one: If you see a skull click it.
Rule two: If you have a mate in one then mate it.
