speaking of endgames...can someone please tell me how many moves you can make(if you've only got a king left) before a draw is declared.
thanks
Does this answer your question?
Originally posted by Black LungHmm,don't know about that half move stuff. It's quite confusing,I don't understand that system very well😳
i think so, i suppose that if i'm left with my king and my half moves since capture gets ta 25 then i get a draw?thanks alot..sir..hahahe..hey..cough...wheeze
I don't think 25 is right.You have to move a piece 50 times.Would that make 25 half moves?I dunno....
BTW,how's the not smoking going?
i'm not really expecting to survive but he's got a rook, knight and about to promote a pawn.it just got me thinking.i can remember playing with a buddy who told me that when you are left with your king your opponent has 21 moves to checkmate you.sounds a bit wrong now but just wanted to make sure. With regards to the smoking....ehem..kinda losing that battle(much like my chess at the moment)
