Evans gambit

What do people think of the evans gambit

Perfectly playable over the board at amateur level games--if you can find an opponent as black who's willing to answer 1. e4 with e5 and 2. Nf3 with Nc6 and won't steer the game into the 2 Knights Defense at move 3. I've played it occasionally, but with success, as white in real-time internet games. Of course, it's very, very heavily and deeply analyzed.
