There are so many strong, young players around now that Evgeny Tomashevsky seems to be completely overlooked. Yet whenever I see him play in a tournament he performs well and holds his own against just about anyone.
One things for sure - he must be the World Champion at beating the Kings Indian! See http://tinyurl.com/p52ugxx
Here is a game where Tomashevsky stomps all over Grischuk:
",,,that Evgeny Tomashevsky seems to be completely overlooked."
It is obviously the difficulty writers have in spelling his name.
Magnus Carlsen, Anish Giri, Wesley So.....
these lads will have their games printed all the time.
That Russinm player, what's his name.....Polygoligaviskon.
He won the world title sometime in the past but nobody could
spell his name so he is totally ignored...Even Wiki ignores him.

As for Tomashevsky, we may well see him in the next candidates tournament, as he's currently leading the pack in the grand prix.
After 2 rounds in Khanty-Mansiysk, he has 1.5 points (beating jobava with black pieces)
Maybe he is one to watch out for... Not these Caruana, So or Giri pretenders!
EDIT - mind you, can we rule out a Carlsen vs Anand rd. 3?
