Yeah thats a very important point, I bought Secrets of Modern Chess Strategy and I found it a difficult read, now I know I should put that book off until Im around 2000 strength

Art of the Attack is a good one for any level. And don't neglect a good endgame book.

True. However, don't you agree that it is more benficial to a 1600-1900 than say a 1000-1400 player?

Yes, endgames are very important.

I think you should go back and do 0-1200 first, that information is very important. You need to have that done to finish 1200-1400 and 1400-1600
