Wow. thanks what you did
your move 16... was just a blunder. your bishop cut off the knights protection by the rook.
before that a general hint: before moving the same knight a second time, try to develop the other pieces (according to some rule of thumb i just read today on greenpawns blog) first.
also, you have a nice fianchettoed bishop there, but the moves preceeding 12. Bg7xe5 make you loose your nice bishop too easily. he can be very powerful, try to be a bit more careful with it.
fourth, but not not least, have a look at greenpawns blogs. you can find many snips of chess wisdom there, use them at own peril... 😉
edit: i am not an expert!

I felt pretty confident before move 27 or so. Should have done something more than pushing my side pawn.
I'll wander to blogs when I find tham Thanks for speaking up.

2h3!? is something of a waste of time so why did you play 2....e6?
Your centre wasn't under attack and it blocked bishop on c8 unnecessarily.
Attack his / prepare to attack his centre instead: 2..c51? instead and you are almost playing as white
In general, be more positive!..... a theme that seems to run through the game as you exchanged better placed pieces off rather too easily
