I guess there are about hundreds of such matches... You can google for the 100 best moves I guess...

That Craddock - Mieses game is also one of my favourites.
It's always a regular on my demo board. I never tire of showing it.

8...Rb8 sets one of the deepest chess traps in history.
Mieses played 8...Rb8 with the game continuation in mind.
Look at it. Why else did he play it but to sac it.

A wonderful piece of imagination and calculation.
The beauty of it is that White has to be a fairly reasonable
player to fall for it.

There is no book on Mieses best games (in English).
A shocking omission from chess literacy.

That one topalov played against navara was pretty good - I forget the tournament now, but it involved quite a nice combination at the end.

This is the only one they played against each other that I could find.
