While I am a better (or not that worse) player in "normal" time controls, I enjoy playing a blitz game time to time.

I just played the following 9 min game on Fics:

    1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. c4 dxc4 4. a4 Bg4 5.
    Nc3 Bxf3 6. gxf3 e5 7. dxe5 Qxd1+ 8. Nxd1 Nfd7
    9. Bf4 Nc6 10. Bh3 Bb4+ 11. Nc3 Ndxe5 12. Bxe5 Nxe5
    13. O-O Bxc3 14. bxc3 Ke7 15. Rab1 b6 16. Rb5
    c5 17. Bg2 Ng6 18. Rd1 Rad8 19. Rbb1 Nf4 20. a5
    Nxg2 21. Kxg2 Rxd1 22. Rxd1 Rd8 23. Rb1 Rd6 24. e4
    f6 25. f4 Kd7 26. axb6 axb6 27. Ra1 Kc6 28. Ra7
    Rd7 29. Ra1 Rd3 30. Rc1 b5 31. Kf1 Kb6 32. Ke2
    Rh3 33. Rg1 g6 34. e5 fxe5 35. fxe5 Rxc3 36. e6
    Ra3 37. e7 Ra8 38. Rd1 Re8 39. Rd7 Kc6 40. Ra7
    Kd6 41. Kd2 Rxe7 42. Ra6+ Kd5 43. Ra5 b4 44.
    Rb5 Kd4 45. Rb8 c3+ 46. Kc2 Kc4 47. Rf8 b3+ 48.
    Kd1 c2+ 49. Kd2 Rd7+ 0-1

The game itself is an oke blitz game for my personal standards but certainly nothing special. In the game I allowed him to take take back a mistake he made, however it did not make a difference in the end.

After he resigned. The following conversation took place:
    Me: ty for the game
    Opponent: Good computer
    Me: ?
    Me: How do you mean?
Server reaction: You are put on the ignore list from this user.

    Now why is this? 😕
    I did absolutely nothing indecent.
On the other side you cannot put everyone who defeats you put on a ignorelist, now can you?

Welcome to the world of internet chess. It happens more frequently than you might think, especially when you start rising up the ranks. I take it as a compliment. 😀

    dada!

learning to lose is part of the game, i know i learned the easy way, one has to admit that a players egocentricity gets in the way of his willingness to accept that someone else played a better game, or that their own deficiencies were to blame, who knows maybe these guys think that they are infallible, i would send him a dummy tit so that when it happens again he can console himself with it!

A lot of FICS players are lame. I only play there a few times every 4 months or so maybe less but in those few times I've run up on a number of players that lack style. I've had to get one game adjudicated because they disconnected once they had a lost position. Both of us made mistakes and I'd have loved to play the guy again. I can understand a lost connection. My connection is horrible and the driving factor that led me to this place but at least log back on so I can finish the game.

My bad connection is also a pain with FICS. I've been accused to using a computer because my dial up cut off, then when I was able to reconnect I ended up winning. RHP is much better, plus I play better chess most of the time compared to blitz games.
