right now i see 2 ??

usually anywhere from 5-15

its a biggg long runing site

Those numbers seem pretty typical for FICS. Playchess and ICC run a bit higher.

The 5-15 resonates with my experience at RHP's blitz site and Chessmaster's online playing room.

I greatly prefer FICS to ICC if only because FICS doesn't charge me 70 bucks a year. I'd play more blitz here but there's never anybody in there...

You are right.
I just tried rhp blitz sometimes, but only had 1 (in words: one) blitz
here. There where about 10 guys waiting, but noone wanted to
accept an offer
