I feel so proud of myself. Though I've been playing for a few years, I've been studying for only about one year. And that study has been quite desultory: part of a book here, a few tactics there. No discipline, no overall strategy to study, no systematic progression -- all hit and miss. I have finally decided to study one book at a time, and to hit the book every day. And to try and establish some sort of progression to my study, rather than just jump on whatever grabs my fancy at the moment. I feel like I am finally introducing some sanity and reason to my study. Let's hope it pays off!

Best of luck to you! Practice makes perfect, more practice makes faster perfection. 😀

....help me to take...one book at a time. Have to agree with your post as the scatter gun approach to training is interesting but a more focused and disciplined approach brings better results.
