I would like to dedicate this glorious milestone to the Only Chess forum, without you all I would never have been able to continue my meteoric rise to mediocrity.

This is how I got there:

Quick look now, I'm about to lose the other match and slip back under 1600 again hahahahaha

    Nice game.

It does not matter if you drop back into 1500's you made it 1600 and your
    profile will show that forever.

There is nothing wrong with your play (you have got away from silly blunders)
Just a bit of polish and you will be 1800.

    Here.

You played 22.Qf2. Perhaps worried about Black playing f3 and opening you up.
(When I first played over the game I had no idea what colour you were and
    was expecting a Black win.)

Think attack first, then attack second, if nothing then resolve yourself to
    making a defensive move.

You could done it in style. It was there.

There is your bones, the tactical pattern.

    Now dig it out.
You can win the exchnage with 1.Nc6+ Kc8 Ne7+
OK good. Save that one up. .....is there more?

    Two lines to go for.
