For all Sicilian players!!! Lend me your ears

How about this for a thematic tournament idea!!!

We have had Dragon Thematics, Najdorf Thematics etc.

So ~Tony!~ could be saying to me my Dragon is better than than your Dragon (Which I am sure it is) However.......

How about a thematic with the moves

1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 (Open Sicilian with 2...d6)

Here I could reply your Dragon may be better than mine

But my Najdorf is better than your Dragon etc.

After 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4

This could lead to a:
1) Najdorf
2) Dragon
3) Scheveningen
4) Classical

Also a Thematic after the moves

1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 (Open Sicilian with 2...Nc6)

This could lead to a:
1) Taimanov
2) Accelerated Dragon
3) Sveshnikov
4) Classical
5) Kalashnikov
6) 4 Knights Sicilian

Yeah I think this would be pretty cool. And by the way, my Dragon is definitely better than your Najdorf. I mean, come on. A Dragon is a Dragon, but a Najdorf is an old, slightly overweight Argentinian man. No contest. 😀
