Thought some of you might be interested on whats on the telly tonight here in the UK:
Tonight 8pm ITV1 Foyles War
Foyle (think Columbo but in England in 1944...) is taking chess lessons from psychiatrist Dr Josef, a polish Jew who lost his family to Nazis while out of the country on business. "Foyles War" is a good quality period drama and this episode is also the critics choice in our listings magazine so hopefully worth watching. Anthony Horowitz, the writer, is well known for scrupulous attention to detail so I expect the chess references will be well researched.
Originally posted by MahoutDon't shout about the chess. We were going to watch it but if my other half thinks theres chess in it I'll have to put up with "Home or Away" instead!
