It has tutorials? How do I even access them? (sorry, that's not what I got Fritz for)
Anyway, I think it is most useful for Position Analysis, Game Analysis, Opening and Endgame Training and Your Own Studying With It. (put a position and play variations you consider and see how Frits responds) That's how I use it.
I'm not sure what you mean exactly.
I enter my game into the computer, either move by move or paste the pgn in. Game analysis is just if you got a question about a specific position or if your entering a game into the computer.
After you got the game into the program, there's a Full analysis option and thats what I use. Pick the options you want, let it run for 40 minutes or so and then go over the analysis after its done. That's what I use.
Originally posted by more guinnessyou can paste from the edit/paste or by ctrl+v. I usually then set 'infinite analysis' on from the engine-menu or alt+f2, right click on notation-window and set 'position tutor' visible. then I just go through the game move by move. you might also want to add more than the initial 2 lines visible in the analysis by pressing + button.
Sounds good--I'll figure out how to paste in the game and give it a try.
this way you don't have to wait for the whole analysis to complete, and can skip less important moves if you like, or give others more time.
Hey again wormwood.
Ya you can do it that way also. Sometimes though the infitine analysis and the full analysis moves don't match up though. Also with infinite analysis you gotta go throught the game by yourself and enter the variations etc...
But with Full analysis, which you can also run while your watching TV or something else besides using you computer, the variations are added by the computer, you also get those tactical problems which it makes from your games( I don't like them so I turn them off) and you get some graphical stuff also.
