Does anyone have a funny or embarrasing story they could share?
I was at this tournament a few weeks ago. It was my opponents move so he looked up at me, picked up my knight, took my pawn and said "Check", with confidence he puts the pawn down and writes in his little book. I went "Uhm, thats my knight?".
My friend saw this, we looked at eachother, walked out of the playing hall and just laughed for about 5 mins. We returned to win both our games.
My opponent made loads of errors after that. I won the game with ease. He had 5 years of chess experiance.
I guess this happens to all of us, but this time it was just so funny...
1 mistake leads to the next.
