its not a true gambit in the sense that the compensation is almost immediate in most cases...
where i the king's gambit, white sometimes never gets back the pawn, maintaining pressure...
but in the QGA, white gets back the pawn quickly with equality

why not use RHP to test the waters?
just curious, do you have to give something a road test in the real world before trying it here?
seems to me it should be the other way around...
