getting shafted

i am playing 3 people that are rhp members all of them had a constant rating of 1580 or around there one guys rating boosted to 1640 and i was winning so i was like sweet im going to get some points then next thing you know i have 2 moves till mate his rating dropped to 1302. another guy dropped from 1580 to 1489. has this happened to u and if so how much did their rating drop. sucks huh

This has never happened to me. I guess if it did I'd probably kill myself.

I challenged a 1600's player while I was about 1300. By the end I was about 1500 and he was only 1440ish. The game ended in a draw, which caused me to lose points 🙁.

that sucks i play this one guy multiple games probably 30 by now and we have ongoing trash talking and what not. i forced a draw when he was up 3 pawns so he dropped his rating to 40 points less than me and then drew so he would go up points and i would go down.

Tell him you're glad his rating is at its proper place, namely, below yours.

My RHP rating droped from about 1625 or so to maybe 1560 or so. It can happen. Do not be so concerned so much about your RHP rateing and just play the game. The Rateing thing will take care of itself. Funny thing about my rateing drop was that it happened about the time the Witch Hunters started checking the players for program use.

What happened to the post where you complained that the other guy's score had risen from 1580 to 1640?
