We have a fancy new shopping district in town. They have a giant chess set (3 foot pieces) out in the open that people can play with. I saw the guy setting the pieces out, he obviously didn't know or didn't care about the correct starting position. It was like this -
I was going to put them in the right place, but then I noticed the bigger problem.
I call white.

It's not a problem, it's just a modern, politically correct chess set that acknowledges the possibility and validity of homosexual royal marriage.
Usually you teach the kids about the king and queen and their little pawns. In this case you learn about the 2 queens and the adopted pawns.
One pawn might wonder why it has no father, yet a pawn in a different mall now has two dads, and is wondering where mommy fits in.
It's a variation on the birds and bees, but we use chess sets instead and include the possibility of gay marriages and adoption in said marriages. Complicated times we're in.
