03 Feb '15 15:36We've all seen them at car boot sales. Moulded glass chess sets, clear glass and frosted, sometimes with a glass board.
The trouble is, you can't actually play chess with them, because the colours aren't easy to distinguish in certain light conditions.
What you can do, is to paint the frosted ones black and you have a decent, playable chess set for the nearly nothing.
