I agree. It's sad that:

- RHP forums are hardly moderated to keep threads on-topic and non-abusive.
- even the chess-only forum has hardly any active threads about chess itself. So people get bored and start fighting. Often heated forum discussions can be fun to read, but nowadays even a discussion "topic" is missing. It's just irrelevant accusations...

There is certainly room for improvement here, i've seen plenty of forums where people were nice and respectful of one another, even without much moderation. Maybe it has something to do with the nature of chess players who tend to have big ego's.
