There are tons of games on middlegame planning, openings, endgame, tactical puzzles. But is there some good book about chess tactics that is not limited to puzzles but also have some text in it ? Like Winning Chess Tactics but maybe a little more advanced.

Understanding Chess tactics by Martin Weteshnik or http://www.chesstactics.org/ The website is very good and has been published as two books. I recommend the online version since it is free!

Seconded.

Polgar's Chess Tactics for Champions is also very good.

I think altough it's more general, kotov's "think like a grandmaster" could be put in that category.
