good chess biography

can any one recommend a good chess biography, although its a bit late for uk christmas post ,well probably not for next christmas.

Tigran Petrosian, his life and games was an immensely enjoyable read, also Masters of the chessboard by Reti and although i have not read it, only snippets, i reckon My great predecessors would also be a good read.

i like the look of the tony miles book, £ 127.94 new on amazon seems a bit steep (only £27.26 ! used ) .It is christmas though iI might treat myself.,only a round in the pub. I couldnt find secrets of a c player ,who published it Mills and Boon . thx all

Not so much a biography, but The Chess Artist: Genius, Obsession, and the World's Oldest Game, was a very interesting book.
