All due respect, I'm not sure how great an idea it was to start this thread. I know it's with the best of intentions and you don't mean to insult anyone, but you're never going to be able to name all the contributors to the forum and so you're naturally going to leave people out who will simply feel like they're not "part of the club," thereby discouraging their participation. This is especially true when people start writing laundry lists of all the users they like.
If you are extra careful and name everyone, then that's essentially the same thing as naming no one. If you intentionally don't name certain people, you're just insulting them for no good reason. If you unintentionally don't name certain people, your intent with regard to that becomes ambiguous.

This thread was actually part of a two post set.
The first was great users that aren't around anymore.
Rather than leave it at that and make it look like the site was "dead", I decided to name users that still make the site worthwhile. I didn't want to leave on a downer, so to speak (or ruin the site's future businesss). It was with the best of intentions that I started this thread.
I started by naming users that I have had great PERSONAL experiences with. Obviously, I can't name everyone. Just the same, everyone did not leave a PERSONAL impression on me. This is not a popularity contest. The list doesn't mean anything. It's just a few of the reasons that I, myself love the site.
I think you (or others) take it the wrong way, if you get offended by this.
