Still think it's a won position for white with the weak h pawn though.
It's getting harder to respond when you keep editing your posts 😉
Here's my riposte to your last edit

Like the new version, nice queen sac
Edit: You know I was supposed to leave work half an hour ago? - what have you done to me?

Edit: won't edit the pgn this time but you can even try 7.Nf5+ too but then the queen can play a desperado and take the knight so it probably wouldn't get as high an evaluation but against most people it would probably lead to mate quicker.
Edit2: LOL you should leave then... or stay. I'm sure you can put two office chairs together as a bed or some such.
Originally posted by VelvetEarsSo maybe 1.hxg5 first then play the sac on e5 or g5 depending on how black captures the pawn.

Wow. I missed a lot of thread. I leave the site for a few hours... 😉
This was my thinking for wrapping the game up, continuing the original idea:
[pgn][FEN "r6r/ppp2q2/5pkp/3pPNbR/3P2P1/5Q2/PPP5/1K5R w - - 0 1"] 1.Qd3 Qe6 {Queen would probably move so she wasn't the victim of the discovered check} 2.Nxh6 Kg7 {could put pieces in the way but would pr ieces in the way} 7.Qxc5 {And we're back to the same two options black had above} [/pgn]
Originally posted by tomtom232True, hasty analysis on my part. Would probably do Qc7 if Kg8 in the third line, which sets up the Queen-Rook mating potential after Nh6+. I think we've established between the 3 of us that black was right to resign though 🙂
