Close to the Morphy game. You can see where I got the ideas from.

Maybe 9.Bg5 is strong, if QxB, Bxf+ and BxN

I think 8. Bg5 works at least that was my initial inclination.

8... QxB
9. Bxf7+ Kd8
10. Qd5+

You don't have the Morphy game committed to memory. :'(

Here it is. It's better than my effort. I don't know if I would
have played the same moves at that speed if I never knew the game.
(I doubt it).
If you liked my game then you will simply love this one.

Did not even look at Bg5 ideas (...Qg6), Nc3 was the move following
the Morphy theme.

Nice moves? All the good ones (i.e. up to move seven) were purloined from Morphy, after that it was easy - a chimp could have won it. And it's not as if White sacrificed his queen. I'd rate it 5/10 for style.

I'm just bigging him up, it's freezing up in scotland right now - reckon he needs some glowing words.
On the subject of chimps, if you gave an infinite amount of chimps an infinite amount of time to play chess, they too would deduce the need for en passant to be incorporated into the game.

Fantastic. May we all shamelessly borrow this quote?
