Hey, guys! I was wondering what is you opinion on the Gruenfeld Defence (1.d4 N6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 d5), regardless of whether you play this opening or not.

Sound opening. I used to play nizmo indian as a reply to d4 but I think I will try experimenting with the Grunfeld for awhile.

I have trouble playing against it. It's a sharp reply to 1.d4, and I usually expect a KID after 2...g6. I guess it might have some sort of surprise value.
