People just tend to play out of their skins when making challenges like this.
That has been my experience anyway.
The Hammerschlag may be ok (as is the Grob) against lower rateds or OTB or blitz, but in CC against someone who plays sensibly you are intrinsically at an early disadvantage.
1.f3?! 2.Kf2? is just way too limiting to be any good other than for the freakshow factor.
