All afternoon I've been waiting for my opponents to come on and make
moves and only one showed, he played a move caught my
conditional move and then sodded off.
I've been upsetting the box boffins again (it's now a hobby),
analysed in depth some lad's game - (Chess above my level thread).
Played a bit of blitz, messed about with one of them tactical training things.
Played over games, read other threads on other forums....
...there are some right nutters about...Nothing.
............Where are they......??
Have they got a life outside RHP? 🙁

It seems he had played him twice OTB back in holland (both losses). Talk about a coincidence!
Hello to you Mr. PawnGreen. What's your take on Weyerstrass? I think everyone's just jealous of him.
Hi
I can beat your coincidence.
2004/5 I was doing a Corner and saw a picture of a group of Chinese
girls with a man all proudly standing in front of this trophy in an
old Eagle comic..
So I published it saying it was a chess team that had won the
Edinburgh Chess league - so ha ha ha and that was that.
One month later I get an email from the man in the picture.
He was the coach of the Chinese table tennis team, they had won the
World Champions and I am MR (I forget now) and I once played
and beat Bobby Fischer in a simul giving at, I'm sure he said
Philadelphia.
We emailed a few more times and he proved beyond a doubt
he had actually played Fischer but would not give me the score.
I think he went onto sell it.
All that from a picture I saw in an old Eagle.
The Eagle was the comic that had Dan Dare in it. His adversary
was Ming the Merciless.
There is nobody called Dan Dare on here but we do have a Ming.
Here is a Ming game watch him snag both his opponents Rooks
and deliver checkmate all in 13 moves.
Dan Dare's girl friend was called Dale (or is that Flash Gordon?).
Anyway - we have a Dale who beat Green Bay Fan in 3 moves.

Hi.
We often play blitz when both drunk. He usually wins.
I am a total duffer when drunk and do not go near my normal games.
(I did once and dropped a piece).
This happened between us once.

I wanted to point this out that when talking about the engine match-up rates and how all the greats of the game couldn't achieve that, let alone RHP members, didn't we forget that CC is different from OTB, given also the fact that RHP actually does permit consulting certain reference sources, you've got Analyse Board, plenty of time per move etc.
