Hi all - Any FICS players out there?

FICS is a free version of ICC. Those of you that also play on FiC might like to join this thread. I always thought it would be nice to play on FICS against someone I've played here. My handle on FICS is the same : stalebread.

I've been on FICS for a while, but haven't played often because of time constraints. I've just recently started playing there again, actually, after a long break. My ratings are going haywire as a result.

My handle is "Frazier". I mostly play blitz there now but technically I'm a member of the STC (Slow Time Control) Bunch and used to try to play only long games.

For those who haven't tried it, FICS is great, and it's free.

Only 1 show - very poor. Anyhow I've added you to my notify list GMF and hope to bump into you sometime.

I'm 'Blunderingidiot' on FICS.Made the account a year ago,but never really played there.I'm member of the ICC,I prefer to play there.But just last week I played a few blitzgames on FICS using the babaschess interface.Outstanding!

I play sometimes on FICS although I prefer playing correspondance chess on RHP because I like to take my time when I play chess. If you want to play me on FICS or RHP, send me a message. My nickname on FICS is EchecEtMat.

For those who prefer to take their time to think, there is a group on FICS (and active on other chess servers, too, like on ICC) that holds regular "slow time control" events. Just type "help stc" when in FICS.
