Move the king to the correct square, and the site will do the rest.

I was playing on another chess site then saw I had a move to make here thru email notification. So I quickly logged in and made the usual move for castling at the other site, which was moving the king and then the rook and clicking Move. You can imagine my horror when the RHP program moved my rook instead of castling! 😲

Cost me the game. :'(

Although I've played on dozens of sites like RHP, I haven't played on a site where you must meve the rook, too. Which site was that?

Most probably he didn't if he speaks so sorrowfully.

Well that'll learn you! One has to move the king first in any castling move.

He did move the king first. And then out of force of habit, he moved the rook as well. Of course, whenever you click anywhere else on the board, it immediately undoes your move. He didn't notice his king was back on its original square, and hit "move".
