I don't organize them. That's what databases like SCID are for.
If you need to look at all the games with a certain opening, a certain rating, a certain opponent, win or loss as black, etc, then just use the database's search function to find them.
If you're interested in keeping track of whether you played well or not, just make a note in the game's header and you can search for it later just as you would for the more regularly recorded information.
I made 3 new folders. 3 day timeout folder, 14 day timeout folder and 21 day timeout folder and oreganized the games. took me about a half an hour to work out but making moves will be easy now that I can find the 3 day timeout games and I can now time them perfectly. ;-) hope this may help someone.
Live games are either in my two clan folders or my friends folder. Then, after the game, they go to either the study folder (a euphemism for a loss) or the endings folder (for instructive endgames). The wins not in the endgame folder go to archive. At any low moments I can just click on the archive folder and see a long list of won games. Nice.
