Originally posted by dmnelson84It's called chess blindness. If we could magically remove the knight on e3 then 13 ..Qd2#. However, any possible 13th move by black that is not forcing, ie check, allows cxb2+. Neither Knight sac works, however. 13 ..Nxc2+ allows 14. Qxc2 covering the d2 square and 13..Nxg2+ and 14.Bxg2 opens up the safe light square f1.
Why don't you just tell us how you mated from move 13 onward? I personlly think you're mistaken.
I guess the champions of Nxg2+ think that even though the bishop takes on g2 it is also still on f1 as well.
Unfortunatley for black (even more unfortunate than his opening) the Knight is on e3 and his oponnent knows how to calculate two moves ahead.
Originally posted by dmnelson84I'd say my openings are pretty unique - KG (adding the Ruy soon), Dragon, Grunfeld, and I have a couple of other things that I throw in every once in a while. If that's not unique enough I also use the Freak Attack against the Najdorf. Tell me one other person that has that same repertoire. And mine is actually solid.
